What a way to show our support for those who have been touched by this illness, and other diseases that have the potential to cut lives short.
May we celebrate with the survivors, give care to the caregivers, and remember those we have lost.

The Dreams Fair 2009 looked to be a great success, with many exhibits providing a wealth of information.
Ann Myers Medical Center was well represented with the Breast Cancer Awareness exhibit created by Vera Zhoaying.
Some may wonder if a fair in Second Life can have an impact.
Apparently the answer is yes.
AMMC was contacted by a woman who was just recently diagnosed with breast cancer, asking for information.
Hats off to Vera to take time out her busy schedule to do this!

Fidelius, (AMMC’s greatest supporter) was on hand to help with questions. Many were surprised to find so much information on the subject. They even checked out the mammogram machine as well as learning the appropriate way to do a self exam .
